In recent years, many magazines add eco-bag as a free gift in Japan.
Due to slow sales in the publish industry,it's one of the effort to insure customer satisfaction.
But is it really necessary thing for it?
Coz,ya know,I buy many kinda fashion magazines to obtain information from either internal or external sources.
I think I get 10 or fewer Japanese magazines a month.
So, which means that I can get a number of eco-bags a month.
Initially,I was exciting for the premium.
But now,I'm fed up with that.
I don't need eco-bags anymore.
So it's not ecologically friendly product any more.
I think the most important thing is to improving the information content for magazines.
They've been neglecting it.
I think they're sort of lost,,
The premiums get more gorgeous and gorgeous, but on the contrary, the magazines get thinner and thinner... sigh.. :(
You're absolutely right saying they aren't eco friendly anymore: in Europe we had the same issue years ago with magazines offering almost everything
ReplyDeletefrom eco-bags to flip-flops and lipsticks before switching back to thicker, giftless issues (even if half of the pages are adverts and infos are not improved so much). By the way, what do you think of the blogs' giveaways? Have fun, ciao.
@mikapoka :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment! Wow free flip-flops? I can't believe it!! It sounds ridiculous!! I think we'll stop buying magazines for the premiums some day in the future..
Well, blogs' giveaways?? Interesting! I've never thought about that! Are there any giveaway system with blogs?
As far as I know sometimes there's a giveaway, usually reserved to followers, in those blogs related to online shops but I actually know little about.
ReplyDeletei always catch up on my fashion once every 3 months with cancam or something in america because they sell the magazines individually -- so i love the premiums only once in a while! but if i got them all the time, it would be bad...
ReplyDeletei have so many obentou bags now though! haha. :P
