It was GLOOMY's 10-year celebration party.

GLOOMY is a pink bear. It looks sooooo adorable but extremely demonic bear.

This is MORI CHACK. He is the creator.
He has a frank personality.

There were tons of his fans.

They were dressed fashionably!

Norakuro

I went to " Norakuro Museum (のらくろ館) the day before yesterday.http://www.kcf.or.jp/morishita/norakuro.html
What's "Norakuro"?
Norakuro is a famous Japanese manga character that was serialized from 1931 to 1981 written by Suihou Tagawa.

Norakuro stands for NORA (homeless ) KURO (black dog).
It looks adorable,doesn't it?  (*⌒▽⌒*) /

This one is a little bit scary!!  ( ̄▽ ̄;)!!ガーン

It's one of most popular perennial manga characters in Japan.

Even now, over 80 years after the first appearance,a variety of goods related to it are on sale.

Jim-bei☆

Looky,looky!! The cute girls!! :D

They were wearing super cute outfit!!
They're called "Jim-bei" .
They look like "Kimono" or "Yukata" but a little bit different from them.
What's the difference between "Kimono" and "Jin-bei?"
"Jin-bei" is a kinda suit.
So it's a separates.
They're loosely-fitted , don't have any annoying "obi" or something,use a breathing cloth.
So they're perfect for Japanese muggy summer.

Recently a variety of patterns of Jin-bei are sold at many shops.
I'd like to get one!! :D

Blythe ☆

I went to  "Blythe shop" at Daikan-Yama the other day.
What is "Blythe" ?
Blythe is a dress-up doll that was released from American toy company Kenner
in 1972.
Unfortunately they stopped production of it in only one year after.

Then,in 2001,replicas of Blythe has been released by Japanese toy company
Tomy Company.
It has gathered a huge following not only in Japan but also many countries.

The shop was crowded with Blythe fans.

Crane machines

I went to a game arcade last Saturday.
It was fun!
There were a lot of  fun games!
I think the most popular are crane machines.
Crane machines in Japan are AMAZING!!
You can get stuffed toys, cushions, key chains,,, even goldfish!! Wow!!
Almost all stuffs are limited product.
So,you can only get hold of them from the machines.

Now these "The World of GOLDEN EGGS" 's characters are popular with both children and grown-ups.
They look creepy-cute!

Finally,I got the cute stuffed toy!

Many girls wear it.

Japanese fashion magazines

In recent years, many magazines add eco-bag as a free gift in Japan.
Due to slow sales in the publish industry,it's one of the effort to insure customer satisfaction.

But is it really necessary thing for it?

Coz,ya know,I buy many kinda fashion magazines to obtain information from either internal or external sources.
I think I get 10 or fewer Japanese magazines a month.
So, which means that I can get a number of eco-bags a month.
Initially,I was exciting for the premium.
But now,I'm fed up with that.

I don't need eco-bags anymore.
So it's not ecologically friendly product any more.

I think the most important thing is to improving the information content for magazines.
They've been neglecting it.
I think they're sort of lost,,

The premiums get more gorgeous and gorgeous, but on the contrary, the magazines get thinner and thinner... sigh..  :(

Yukata

Now that the rainy season is drawing to a close,
I'm in the mood for love,,
NO!! Just kidding!! ;p

I'm in the mood for getting a new Yukata (a traditional Japanese summer garment.)

Ya know,Yukata are one of the seasonal charms of summer in Japan.
Recently modern Yukata designs have been popular among young women.
It's cheaper and easier than Kimono when you wanna enjoy Japanese style.
We can find a variety of patterns of Yukata from various clothes shops.

Every summer, almost all magazines feature the Yukata trend.

Hmm,what Yukata shall I wear this summer,, ;)

A Big Poo-poo!!!!!

Looky,looky!! There's a big poo-poo in the sky!!!

Just kidding!!

It's one of famous tourists' favourite places called
"Super Dry Hall" in Asakusa.

The Golden rectangle building on the left is the
headquarters of Asahi Breweise ,Ltd.
It's a metaphor for a glass of beer with head.
The odd-poo-poo-shaped object is a metaphor for
golden flame called " Flamme d'or."
They were designed by Philippe Starck.

There're many restaurants and cafes inside of the building.
You can enjoy nice coooooold local brew beer that is arrived
direct from Asahi's beer factory.
Hooray!!!!

That cold beer is just the thing on a hot day!!

They sell clothes,cosmetic items,home electronics,snacks,toys,

It's always crowded with tourists and locals.

If you have a sudden urge for a costume party, don't worry!

Almost the shops are round-the-clock stores.
So you can get costumes for cosplay even late at night!! Whew!
